The procedure corrects the unstable/sagging eyebrow which can affect visual function and make a person appears sad, tired or angry. The surgery will restores a more youthful refresh look especially the area above the eyes. Traditional coronal incisional has been taken over by the current mini incision endoscopic approach which is second most common procedure done by asethetic eyeplastic surgeon.
With aging, the tissues of the forehead and eyebrows become lax and start to sag. This results in excess upper eyelid skin hooding the eyes and can potentially result in an unpleasant brooding appearance.

Surgery to overcome this can now be performed with small incisions hidden above the hairline. An endoscope is used to aid visualization of the deeper brow structures. This technique has taken over the traditional coronal lift that involves a much larger wound.
Following the surgery, patients can expect to have a bandage placed over the forehead. There may be some local bruising but this will resolve over two to three weeks following the surgery.
